Volunteer Opportunities
The following is a list of existing and potential committees and clubs to promote involvement and increase communication throughout our neighborhood. Our community has a crucial need for volunteers in various areas. The more homeowners we have involved, the better communication and positive relations will exist. It is not an exhaustive list…all ideas are welcome.
Castlebrooke Pool Committee
Purpose: To ensure the Castlebrooke Pool area meets the needs of the community.
Key Principles:
- Work with the Board to align community member expectations regarding pool accessibility with budgetary limitations.
- Support a safe and respectful environment for the primary Castlebrooke amenity by having members follow posted pool rules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create/Update and provide oversight of the pool rules.
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the pool experience.
- Make recommendations to the Board regarding pool funding.
- Monitor contractor performance and report to the Board.
- Work with the Board to ensure pool operations are legally compliant (e.g., insurance, hours of operation, etc.).
- Oversee bathroom and pool area clean up (vendors/volunteers).
2024 Focus Areas:
- Propose annual days and hours of operation for the pool.
- Identify and clarify how the community will participate in routine maintenance (e.g., bathroom cleaning, etc.).
- Propose changes to future pool contracts to the Board.
- Evaluate pool management company performance.
- Update pool rules and signage with Board approval

Castlebrooke Grounds Committee
Purpose: To ensure the Castlebrooke common areas meet the needs and standards set in the community.
Key Principles:
- Work with the Board to align community member expectations regarding common area aesthetics with budgetary limitations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor contractor performance and report to the Board.
- Works with other committees as necessary (trail/pool)
- Manages community clean up days.
- Identifies and proposes additional beautification opportunities and submits those opportunities to the Board for approval.
- Gathers and schedules volunteers to work in the community.
- Monitors lighting at entrances.
2024 Focus Areas:
- Provide feedback on contractor performance to HOA.
- Seeks and organizes volunteers to perform various landscaping/upkeep needs in the community.
