  • August 2025 - Neighborhood Watch Program

Please consider volunteering to be a Block Captain for your individual neighborhood street. Several residents on Ashmont Drive have already volunteered to cover Ashmont. We need at least one person from each of our individual neighborhood streets to act as a Block Captain. This person will relay the information to their neighbors. Basically, if you see something, say something. The KPD requires that we receive the training before signing off on the re-instatement of our Watch Program. We have not been active since 2015.

We will receive information and training from the Kannapolis Police Department. Once training has been completed and the Neighborhood Watch Program is operational again, Block Captains will most likely see a minimal amount of time involved with the Watch Program.

Please reach out to me at ehs0867@hotmail.com or text me at 813-892-4958 if you able to participate.

Remember that peace of mind and personal security is optimal.
